Hawzah News Agency- Maulvi Sahibzada Abul Khair, head of Pakistan's National Solidarity Council, addressed the webinar session of the 40th International Islamic Unity Conference, highlighting Ayatollah Khamenei's efforts toward realizing Islamic unity: "Throughout his life, he has not only emphasized the message of Islamic unity but has undertaken extensive struggle and endeavor to achieve this goal."
Calling the realization of Islamic unity among the most difficult undertakings in the Muslim world, he said: "The existence of various schools of thought, beliefs, and viewpoints among Muslims complicates the issue of unity. When followers of different denominations gather under one banner, doctrinal issues inevitably arise, and the enemies of Islam exploit these very differences to sow division among Muslims."
The Pakistani official stressed that overcoming this challenge requires drawing upon the shared teachings of Islam and emphasizing the truth on which all Muslims have historically agreed.
Identifying the Holy Prophet's blessed existence as the greatest common ground among Muslims, he declared: "The entire Islamic Ummah must rally around the person of the Holy Prophet and advance their unity based on his sacred being and teachings."
Addressing current conditions in the Muslim world, the Islamic thinker stated: "Today, amid extensive efforts to create division and fragmentation among Muslims, the necessity of Islamic unity is felt more than ever. Having suffered a great defeat and humiliation at the hands of Iran, the enemies of Islam now seek to compensate for this failure—and one of their means is creating discord among Muslims."
He stressed: "Under such circumstances, the Islamic Ummah must unite more than ever before and expand its victories to pave the way for the triumph of the oppressed people of Gaza and the liberation of al-Quds."
Maulvi Abul Khair added: "This victory must expand to the point where the flag of Islam is raised over al-Quds and Kashmir, and wherever Muslims face oppression, the grounds for ending that oppression are established."
He identified unity around the Prophet's person as the path to this goal, stating: "All Muslims must agree on the blessed being of the Holy Prophet, rally around his personality, and resolve their issues and differences in a fraternal atmosphere."
The Islamic activist emphasized focusing on commonalities: "Whatever differences exist among Muslims must be set aside at this juncture. Instead of highlighting divisions, we must emphasize common ground—for the greatest common denominator of all Muslims is the sacred being of the Holy Prophet."
He noted: "Muslims must unite around the Prophet's personality, agree upon his teachings, and demonstrate this unity not merely in words but in action."
Sahibzada Abul Khair concluded: "This unity must not be confined to a single country; rather, all Islamic nations must stand together and resist elements and movements hostile to Islam."
He expressed hope that "with the realization of ever-greater unity among Muslims, God Almighty will bestow further victories and triumphs upon the Islamic Ummah."
