Hawzah News Agency- The Iranian Foreign Minister, referring to the 40-day resistance of the Iranian people against “the world’s largest virtual army” and its allies, described this resistance as “a great surprise” for the whole world and said: “The Iranian people resisted for 40 days against what was the world’s largest virtual army, and alongside it, other armies and countries had come to support, back it, and help it. This resistance was a great surprise and at the same time an important lesson for the whole world.” He added that in this war, the Iranian people “forced the enemy to give up many of the goals it had set for itself, and eventually, things reached a point where negotiations and diplomacy also entered the field.”
Stating that the recent war was “the scene of Iran’s internal unity and cohesion,” Araghchi emphasized the need to continue this national solidarity and said: “The 40-Day War was, in my opinion, a glorious period of internal unity and cohesion; The unity that was formed between the people, the armed forces, the government and all segments of society, and this unity, resistance and resistance was created. We must be careful that this unity and cohesion continue.
In another part of his speech, the Iranian Foreign Minister, referring to the teachings of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the martyr leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasized the necessity of unity of the Islamic world and said that this ideal is the "forehead of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran." He clarified: "Saudi Arabia and Egypt are among the great countries of the Islamic world, as are Turkey, Pakistan and other Islamic countries. ... Naturally, there are differences and we also have differences with all Islamic countries; but all these differences must be placed against a greater goal so that the Islamic world recognizes its value and position and can resist the excesses and oppressions of the great powers."
Araghchi also pointed out the role of art in conveying human and religious concepts and said that visiting the painting exhibition on the theme of “Minab School” had a profound impact on him: “I really wanted to cry for hours at every painting I stood before; both for the oppression of the children of Minab and for the pride of the Iranian people. These works clearly show how the Iranian people stood, how they won, and how they forced the enemy to fail in achieving the goals they had set.”
In conclusion, the Iranian Foreign Minister stated that “we have also reached a point in the field of negotiation and diplomacy where the whole world has admired the dignity and honor of the Iranian people,” emphasizing that the great lesson of the 40-day war was that “if we are united with each other, we can stand against all oppression and pressure.”
