Hawzah News Agency- The marches took place on Tuesday, drawing massive crowds of men, women, children, and the elderly. Participants dressed in white and fragrant clothing moved through the streets in orderly processions, filling cities with a festive atmosphere.
Followers of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, led by Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqub Zakzaky, were prominently present, marching with discipline and cohesion. Many carried flags and images of resistance leaders, including Imam Khomeini, the late leader of the Islamic Revolution, martyred Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei, and Sheikh Zakzaky.
Along the routes, participants expressed their devotion to the Prophet and his purified household, performing hymns and reciting poetry in praise of the Prophet and the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
Sweets, biscuits, and cooked food were distributed among marchers and onlookers as part of the celebrations.
The event marked the first phase of this year's Prophet's birth anniversary marches in Nigeria. A second round of processions is scheduled for the 17th of Rabi al-Awwal in various locations across the country.
