Iran-Iraq Unity Is Martyr Leader's Eternal Legacy: Iraqi Resistance Figure

Senior Iraqi resistance figure Seyyed Hashem al-Haidari has described the funeral of the martyred Leader in Iraq as the largest in the country's history, stressing that unity between Iran and Iraq stands as the lasting legacy of the martyr.

Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at a commemoration ceremony in Qom marking the 40th day since the burial of the "Martyr of Iran," al-Haidari said the Iraqi people view the late Leader not merely as a religious authority, but as a warrior in the path of God and a commander of the front of truth against global arrogance.

The event, held at the Seminary Services Center in Qom, was attended by al-Haidari, Hojatoleslam Ehsani, head of the center, along with staff members and their families.

Addressing the gathering, Ehsani paid tribute to the martyred Leader Imam Khamenei, highlighting his scholarly, spiritual and combative dimensions. "Great figures illuminate the path of society at critical historical junctures through faith, insight and a spirit of jihad, and the fruits of their struggle and sacrifice remain eternal in history," he said.

Al-Haidari also underscored the position of Velayat-e Faqih in the Islamic system, declaring allegiance to the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.

He called for greater efforts to strengthen unity within the Islamic community, particularly between the Iranian and Iraqi nations. "Following this magnificent and unprecedented funeral of the martyred Leader Imam Khamenei, we must step up our efforts on the path of unity and solidarity of the Islamic Ummah, especially between the peoples of Iran and Iraq," al-Haidari stated.

The ceremony also featured the recitation of Hadith al-Kisa, narrations on the personality and struggles of the martyred Leader, and elegies in honor of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
