Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at the launch of the "Lebanese Against Normalization with the Israeli Regime" initiative, Sheikh Mohammad al-Lababidi said the gathering reflected the "true Lebanon and the true Beirut," while voices calling for ties with the Zionist entity were "discordant and deviant."
"The voices demanding normalization of relations with the Israeli regime or the establishment of ties with the Zionist entity do not represent the Lebanese people," Sheikh al-Lababidi stated. "The authenticity of Beirut and the true Lebanese nation manifests itself in the rejection of normalization with the Zionist regime."
The Sunni religious figure emphasized that the idea of normalizing relations with Israel is rejected by the authentic Lebanese people across all spectrums. The conference, he added, embodies the genuine spirit of a nation whose capital remains a symbol of steadfast resistance and unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause.
