Arbaeen Flag Hoisted in the Heart of America

DEARBORN, Michigan – The city of Dearborn in the US state of Michigan has hosted its annual Arbaeen march commemorating the memory of Imam Hussein (PBUH), with approximately 45,000 participants taking part in what is considered the largest event of its kind in the United States.

Hawzah News Agency- The procession was held under extensive surveillance and security measures, with several major roads closed to ensure the safety of the participants. Pilgrims who gathered from various US states walked long distances to mark the solemn religious occasion.

Along the march route, dozens of Mawkibs and tents were set up, offering free water, food, and beverages to participants. The voluntary scene embodied the values of solidarity and generosity, drawing on the participation of local residents, restaurant owners, and charitable associations.

The city of Dearborn is known for being home to one of the largest Muslim communities in the United States and annually hosts a range of religious and cultural activities. The Arbaeen march in this city has become one of the most prominent Islamic gatherings in the country, distinguished by its massive popular participation and organized coordination, reflecting the active presence of this community and its role within American society.
