Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Karimian visited the service station of the holy shrine of Lady Fatima Masumeh (PBUH) located at Pillar 1080 along the Najaf-Karbala route, where he met and held talks with Hadi Mahmoudnejad, director of the mawkib.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of accurate clarification and precise narration of impactful events unfolding across the Islamic world. They engaged in extensive discussions concerning the media dimensions of the funeral procession for the martyred leader in Iraq, the widespread reflection of this ceremony in public opinion and media outlets across the region and the Islamic world, and the pivotal role of media in conveying the unity-inspiring and resistance-building message of this historic epic.
The talks further touched upon the growing significance of Arbaeen as the world's largest annual peaceful gathering, drawing millions of pilgrims from across the globe. Both parties underscored the necessity of harnessing modern media capacities to counter mainstream narratives that often overlook or misrepresent the sheer magnitude and spiritual essence of this unique phenomenon. They noted that the Arbaeen pilgrimage serves not only as a profound religious commemoration but also as a powerful display of solidarity among free nations and a living testament to the enduring legacy of Imam Hussein's (peace be upon him) stand against tyranny.
Hojatoleslam Karimian, for his part, lauded the tireless efforts of the Mowkib organizers and volunteers, emphasizing that such grassroots initiatives constitute the authentic voice of the Muslim Ummah, independent of biased Western media frameworks. He reaffirmed the Union's commitment to expanding its coverage of the Arbaeen march and amplifying the voices of pilgrims from diverse backgrounds who converge on Karbala each year to renew their allegiance to the path of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
At the conclusion of the visit, Hadi Mahmoudnejad presented a plaque of appreciation to Hojatoleslam Karimian, commending his services and efforts in the field of Islamic world media and his effective role in promoting the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt and the culture of resistance.
