Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Mojtaba Hassanzadeh, head of the Amir al-Momenin (PBUH) Jihadi Group in Kashan, stated in an interview: "The Arbaeen Walk is not merely a journey; it is an epic that has, in truth, left the world in a state of astonishment."
He noted that the eyes of the Muslim world are fixed on this pilgrimage, adding: "This year, as in years past, the streets and alleyways of Najaf and Karbala await the caravans of the Arbaeen Walk. We must not allow this spiritual journey to be diminished in any way."
Referring to the multi-million-strong funeral procession held for the martyred Imam in the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf, Hassanzadeh expressed deep gratitude to the Iraqi people, stating: "Through their magnificent participation in that farewell ceremony and their embodiment of a unified Ummah, the Iraqi nation performed a miracle on the world stage."
Hojatoleslam Hassanzadeh emphasized the importance of pilgrims carrying the symbolic Red Banners of Retribution during the Arbaeen march, declaring: "These red banners must be emblazoned with the image of the martyred Imam, for our Iraqi brothers and sisters await the opportunity to offer their condolences to the Arbaeen pilgrims."
He described this year's Arbaeen—the first to be held following the martyrdom of the Imam—as profoundly significant, stating: "At this year's spiritual gathering, eyes are filled with tears, yet hearts are brimming with hope."
The head of the Kashan-based group called for a passionate and monumental turnout from all strata of society for the Arbaeen pilgrimage, urging: "Every individual must participate in this spiritual journey. If one is unable to attend in person, they should cover the expenses of at least one pilgrim. For every dirham spent in the path of a pilgrim to Karbala, God Almighty grants a reward as vast as Mount Uhud."
Referencing the popular "Nights of Might" rallies that have drawn crowds for over 150 consecutive nights, he stressed that with the Arbaeen pilgrimage approaching and enemy aggression persisting, the nightly public gatherings in city squares and streets must intensify.
Hojatoleslam Hassanzadeh urged Arbaeen pilgrims to shorten their stay in the holy sites to allow others the blessing of visitation, ensuring that popular mobilization remains robust and balanced across both fronts: the epic "Nights of Might" and the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
