Hawzah News Agency- One of the latest gatherings was held at the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) Association Mosque in Istanbul's Avcılar district, marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Al-Hussain Al-Sajjad (peace be upon him).
Director of the center, Sabah Al-Taliqani, said the center has been actively supporting Hussaini mourning gatherings and Ashura programs organized by mosques and Islamic institutions throughout Istanbul since the beginning of Muharram.
He added that the gathering in Avcılar focused on the life and legacy of Imam Al-Sajjad (peace be upon him). The mosque's imam, Sheikh Ahd Solhan, delivered a lecture on the Imam's virtues, his supplications in Al-Sahifa Al-Sajjadiyya, and the circumstances of his martyrdom.
The event concluded with the recitation of Ziyarat Ashura for the attendees and the Muslim community in Turkey, followed by the unfurling of a blessed banner from the dome of the shrine of Imam Al-Hussain (peace be upon him), allowing participants to seek blessings in a solemn and devotional atmosphere.
