Iranian Judiciary Chief: The Failure of the “Southern Corridor” Project in the Strait of Hormuz Buried the American Plot

The Chief of the Iranian Judiciary, Hojjat al-Islam Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, affirmed that current developments in the waters of the Persian Gulf serve as the clearest evidence of the United States’ strategic failure, noting that the failure of the “Southern Corridor” project in the Strait of Hormuz buried the American plan in its cradle.

Hawzah News Agency- In a post via cyberspace, Ejei stated, “What is happening in the Gulf waters represents the most prominent evidence of the failure of American strategy,” explaining that “thwarting the Southern Corridor project frustrated Washington’s scheme and turned the dream of imposing restrictions on Iran’s borders into a nightmare for the aggressors''.

The head of the judiciary added that the recent attacks on Iran fall within this context.

Ejei pointed out that the guardians of the borders and the defenders of the Strait of Hormuz do not merely defend geographical borders, but also safeguard Iran’s dignity and its legitimate independence in the face of systematic aggression, stressing that this will transform the treachery and aggression of the enemies into a historic defeat for them.
