Speaking to the Hawzah News Agency in Sanandaj, Mamosta Mohammad Amin Rasti addressed the recent attacks by the terrorist American regime on Iran's southern provinces. He stated that from the very first days when talk of a truce and ceasefire emerged, it was patently clear that the Americans would exploit this window to regroup and reinforce their weak points for a renewed assault on Islamic Iran.
The member of Sanandaj's Fatwa and Clerical Council said the Americans, with their duplicitous and deceitful rhetoric, have once again proven they hold no commitment to resolutions or agreements. The only thing that satisfies them, he added, is the massacre and invasion of other nations.
The interim Friday Prayer leader of Sanandaj further noted that today, regrettably, alongside the aggressor United States, we are witnessing the participation of Persian Gulf states in the attacks on Iran's southern provinces. These countries, he said, have with sheer folly and a failure to correctly distinguish friend from foe, placed their soil at the disposal of the number one enemy of Muslims, namely the Americans. Undoubtedly, they will sooner or later pay the price for this foolishness and incompetence.
The Sunni scholar emphasized that the terrorist US military has, over the past week, launched numerous attacks on residential and urban areas as well as transit routes, killing and wounding many of our compatriots. Yet in the face of all this aggression, he stressed, we are witnessing the silence of the United Nations. This silence, it appears, is a form of green light for the continuation of American crimes against Iran.
Mamosta Rasti went on to highlight the might of Iran's Armed Forces in confronting the US military, noting that the defensive power and authority of Iran's Armed Forces have reached a level where every American attempt ends in frustration and desperation. He stated that the Americans will not only fail to achieve any result from this war but will also etch a historic defeat into their record to take back to their country.
He continued by directing his remarks toward regional states—countries that lack their own will and today officially posture, interfere, and even launch military attacks as American colonies against Iran.
The member of Sanandaj's Fatwa and Clerical Council affirmed that the ultimate victor in this asymmetric confrontation will certainly be Islamic Iran. The nations that will lose their political dignity in this war and confrontation are the Persian Gulf littoral states. These countries have shown just how unstable they are and have resorted to criminal America to mask their own weaknesses.
