Hawzah News Agency- Since the early hours of the morning, official, political, religious, and military delegations flocked to the mosque, where the pure body was laid in state, to pay their respects and offer a final farewell. This marks the beginning of a six-day mourning period, preceding the funeral processions that will span across Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad in Iran, as well as Najaf and Karbala in Iraq.
The grieving delegations were received at the mosque by senior Iranian officials, led by the President of the Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian; the Speaker of the Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf; and the Head of the Judiciary, Hojatoleslam Mohseni-Ejei. The delegations offered their condolences to the Iranian people and leadership before exchanging greetings with the heads of the three branches of government following the conclusion of the ceremony inside the hall.
This broad international participation comes at a time when Tehran emphasizes that the farewell ceremonies represent a message of loyalty to the martyr, embodying the scale of his presence and influence at both regional and international levels.
