Hawzah News Agency- The statement, dated June 8, 2026, declares a complete maritime ban on the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea and is as follows:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
God Almighty has said: "O you who believe, if you support God, He will support you and make your feet firm."
Within the framework of confronting the American and Zionist attacks on the Axis of Jihad and Resistance in Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen; and in rejection of the Zionist project seeking to establish a "Greater Israel" under the banner of a "New Middle East"; and as part of our endeavor to break the oppressive and barbaric siege imposed by the American enemy on our people and the proud and noble peoples of the Axis in Lebanon, Gaza, and Iran; and based on the principle of the "Unity of Fronts" in confronting the enemies; and in response to the Zionist aggressions against Lebanon, Iran, and Gaza — the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a number of missiles. These missiles struck sensitive targets of the Israeli enemy in the occupied Jaffa area, and by the grace of God, successfully and precisely achieved their objectives.
In this context, the Armed Forces emphasize the following:
First: We declare a complete and comprehensive ban on maritime navigation for the Israeli enemy in the Red Sea. All enemy movements from the moment this statement is issued shall be considered military targets for our Armed Forces.
Second: We stress that for any escalation by the enemy, we will meet it with escalation, and our military operations will intensify in step with developments on the ground and the battle, in participation with the Axis of Jihad and Resistance.
Third: We affirm the right of our people and the free peoples of our Ummah to confront the American-Israeli aggressions. We will not stand idly by in the face of the oppressive siege imposed on our people and the peoples of the Axis of Jihad and Resistance in Palestine, Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq. By God's permission, all enemy efforts will be met with failure, and our operations will persist as long as the aggression and siege against us and the Axis of Jihad and Resistance continue.
God is sufficient for us, and He is the best protector, the best master, and the best supporter.
Long live a free, dignified, and independent Yemen.
Victory belongs to Yemen and all the free people of the Ummah.
