Hawzah News Agency- The ceremony of raising the flag gifted by the Imam Ali's (p) Holy Shrine witnessed the recitation of a collection of religious chants and hymns that expressed the significance of this blessed occasion.
Raising the banner of Wilayah represents the renewal of loyalty and allegiance to Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), whom the Messenger of God (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) appointed as his successor at Ghadir Khumm after the Farewell Pilgrimage.
The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is keen on reviving the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) by organizing various events and programs that contribute to spreading their blessed culture.
