Imam Sadiq (PBUH) said: "Whoever recites to God this supplication (Du'a al-'Ahd) for forty mornings, he will be counted among our upright companions. And if he passes away before the reappearance of the Imam, Allah Almighty will raise him from his grave, and for every word of it, He will grant him a thousand good deeds and erase a thousand of his sins''.
