Hawzah News Agency- Islamabad firmly rejected speculation about joining the Ibrahim Accords after US President Donald Trump urged Muslim-majority nations to normalize relations with Israel as part of what he described as a broader regional peace initiative.
So, I am going to make it very clear that Islamabad’s consistent policy is that Pakistan, until Palestine is recognized, until Palestine is established on its pre 1967 borders with Al Quds as its capital.
The Abraham Accords are US-backed agreements that normalize ties between Israel and several Arab states.
Trump’s remarks have triggered strong reactions across Pakistan, where mainstream political parties, religious organizations, and civil society groups have accused Washington of pressuring Muslim countries to recognize Israel without addressing Palestinian rights.
Israel is an illegitimate entity which has blatantly violated international laws and committed war crimes in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran; they have killed innocent children in Gaza, Lebanon, and Minab in Iran, but remain unaccountable.
Israel never obeys any promises or accords and has continued violating international law.
The existence of Israel itself is a clear example of occupation, so, the US push to recognize Israel will never become a reality.
There is a long list of Israel’s war crimes, not only in Gaza, but also in Lebanon and Iran.
They have killed 10s of 1000s of innocent men, women, and children in Gaza and Lebanon, and recently they also bombed innocent girls at a school in Minab City in Iran.
So Israel has committed serious war crimes, and its Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has been described as a warmongering extremist.
