"Allahu Akbar" Is the Weapon of Resistance Against Zionism and Imperialism

The head of the Ahlul Bayt Scholars Assembly of Turkey (EHLA-DER) declared in his Eid al-Adha sermon that the cry of "Allahu Akbar" is the greatest weapon against the global system of domination, emphasizing Islamic unity and support for the Axis of Resistance while describing the events in Gaza and Lebanon as a continuation of Karbala's message.

Hawzah News Agency -Hojatoleslam Kadir Akaras, head of the Ahlul Bayt Scholars Assembly of Turkey, led Eid al-Adha prayers at the "Kawthar Ahlul Bayt" Mosque.

In his sermon, he delved into the spiritual and esoteric dimensions of Hajj and sacrifice, stressing the necessity of confronting oppression in the Islamic world, backing the Resistance Front, and building an Islamic civilization to counter global imperialism.

Akaras stated that Hajj and sacrifice symbolize humanity's migration from the "worldly house"—built upon ego, desires, and oppression—toward God, noting that this act of worship is not merely a geographical relocation. "The human being who migrates for God sheds even their clothing, leaving behind everything that is perishable to move toward the Eternal God," he said. "Just as Prophet Abraham (PBUH) left his wife and child in a barren desert, every separation and migration carries within it the reunion with eternal truth."

In another section of his address, the head of EHLA-DER described the concept of "Allahu Akbar" as transcending a mere slogan, affirming it signifies the negation of all apparent powers, imperialism, and global hegemony.

"Allahu Akbar means entering the realm of a God who is beyond all description," he said. "If we say God is greater than America, we have understood the meaning of Allahu Akbar incompletely. When we say Allahu Akbar, we are in fact confessing that no power has true existence except God. Allahu Akbar is not just a slogan for times of victory or demonstrations; rather, it means being able to say 'Down with America' and 'Down with Israel.'"

Drawing parallels between Prophet Abraham's submission in sacrificing his son and the sacrifices of Imam Hussein (PBUH) at Karbala, Akaras pointed to the resistance of the people of Gaza and Lebanon. "Today in Gaza and Lebanon, fathers and mothers who gaze upon their children's faces with hope at night are met with their mutilated bodies in the morning," he said. "Our responsibility is heavy; we must connect the message of Karbala with the Resistance Front and take steps toward awakening the Islamic Ummah and humanity."

Concluding his sermon, the head of the Turkish Ahlul Bayt Scholars Assembly pointed to the crimes of Zionism and global imperialism, identifying faith as the most important weapon of the Resistance Front and honoring the memory of resistance martyrs since the "Al-Aqsa Storm" operation.

The ceremony also featured the recitation of Fatiha and Salawat for the souls of resistance martyrs, including prayers for the wounded of the Resistance Front.

Eid al-Adha prayers were led by Kadir Akaras with a large gathering of Ahlul Bayt devotees in attendance, followed by traditional Eid visitations.
