Hawzah News Agency- Speaking on the sidelines of nightly public gatherings, Ayatollah Mahmoud Rajabi discussed Iran's elevated position on the world stage after the recent war. Touching upon battlefield developments and the passionate presence of the people in rallies and nightly assemblies, he said that, by the grace of God, and in light of the guidelines of the Supreme Leader and the efforts of the insightful and vigilant people, these gatherings and the authority displayed by the armed forces have boosted the standing of the Islamic Revolution not only among supporters of the Islamic establishment, Islam, and Shia Islam, but even among those who do not subscribe to these foundations.
Citing a concrete example of the shift in global perception toward Iran, the senior seminarian told Hawzah News Agency that a few days prior, he heard a communist declare that if Iran wins this war, he would become a Shia Muslim. This alone signals the meteoric rise of the Islamic Revolution's standing.
The member of the presiding board of the Assembly of Experts noted that the world, including Iran's foes, never imagined the Islamic Republic could stand firm in such a way against global arrogance, the Zionists, and regional and extra-regional elements.
Ayatollah Rajabi highlighted the repeated pleas from the camp of global arrogance for a cessation of hostilities, asserting that the global arrogance itself repeatedly requested a halt to the war. He added that the conditions set by the Islamic Republic were so firm that even American intermediaries acknowledged their acceptance, but Tehran refused to back down. He went on to say that Donald Trump, as the President of the United States, was ultimately compelled to accept these conditions as the basis for talks—something unprecedented in the history of global arrogance.
Emphasizing the decisive role of the people in the establishment's victories, the member of the Assembly of Experts' presiding board stated that the role of the people has been influential across all arenas. When the armed forces witness this public presence, they draw maximum energy to stand firm and launch offensives against the enemy. Despite the enemy's incessant assaults, Iran emerged victorious from the battlefield. He attributed this to the divine blessings invoked by the nation within the heart of the military forces.
He asserted that without this public presence, the enemy would have most certainly not retreated in this manner. He noted that even now, they are attempting to downplay this unity and popular presence because they have suffered a military defeat. The daily lies uttered by the accursed Trump, he said, are a sign of the defeats he is seeing; he seeks to compensate for this failure with yet another falsehood.
Ayatollah Rajabi went on to say that the nation and the people stand united with the officials and remain obedient to the Leadership's decrees. He described the people's role as irreplaceable, noting that over the past 60 days, the people have entered the scene with complete willingness and enthusiasm, matching or exceeding their initial revolutionary fervor. Even under bombardment, the enemy found itself facing the will of the nation. He called this the highest and most irreplaceable role the world has ever witnessed, leaving enemies bewildered at the nature of this nation.
The member of the Supreme Council of Islamic Seminaries also recalled the prediction made by the late leader of the revolution, stating that their beloved Leader had foretold that if an incident occurred, God would resurrect the people. Today, he affirmed, the world is witnessing that God has indeed resurrected this nation.
He added that one can best feel this uplifting spirit and the profound role of the people when walking among them. "God's hand and the hand of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) is with our nation. We take pride in these people; in their insight, their allegiance to the Guardianship, their sacrifice and devotion, and their continuity and resilience. Most importantly, it is this allegiance to the Guardianship that was their slogan even before the selection of the Leader. This is nothing short of divine grace, and all of these are a source of pride."
Appreciation for the Nation and the Necessity of Redoubled Service by Officials
Ayatollah Rajabi concluded by emphasizing the necessity of appreciating the nation, stating that the country must show gratitude for these people and thank God for bestowing such a nation upon them. He further noted that Iranian officials must offer their utmost gratitude to this nation and, as instructed by the Leader, work twice as hard in serving the people.
