Hawzah News Agency- He added: In this atmosphere of sacrifice, pride, and the enemy's defeat, the authority rushed to a free, humiliating concession that is unnecessary, its only justification is submission without anything in return, not even the amount of a goat's sneeze. We reject direct negotiation categorically, and let the authorities know that their performance will not benefit Lebanon and will not benefit them. What the Israeli-American enemy wants from them is not in their hands, and what you want from it, it will not grant you. The entry point and solution is to obtain the five points before anything else: stopping the aggression by land, sea, and air; Israel's withdrawal from occupied lands; releasing prisoners; and the return of residents to all their villages and towns, and reconstruction.
He continued: This authority cannot continue while it squanders Lebanon's rights, concedes land, and confronts its resistant people. This authority must return to its people to unite them around it, so it is not an authority of a part, but an authority of the people, with the consensus upon which the Taif Agreement built our current constitution. Its responsibility is to backtrack from its dangerous sins that place Lebanon in a cycle of instability, and it is responsible for stopping direct negotiations with the Israeli enemy and adopting indirect ones, and canceling its decision on March 2nd which criminalizes the resistance and its people—meaning more than half of the Lebanese people—in order to be able to pursue an internal dialogue that places Lebanon's interest above all considerations without submitting to Israeli and foreign dictates.
He said: The approach to the solution begins with the fact that the problem is the aggression, and the resistance is a reaction to the aggression, not a cause.
The resistance's weapon is to repel the aggression, and it is a defensive weapon for existence at this stage due to the Israeli occupation and the uncovering of the aggression's goals to occupy Lebanon as part of Greater Israel. We will not abandon the weapon and defense, and the field has proven the resistance's preparations for the Karbala epic.
The sacrifices are great but they are the price for liberation and a dignified life, borne by our great Lebanese people with their honorable resistance as a choice between two options: liberation and pride, or occupation and humiliation—and far be it from us to accept humiliation. As for the advocates of surrender, their situation is strange! They are not targeted, they pay from others' accounts, and they accept the crumbs of authority and gains at the expense of the extermination of their brothers and families in the homeland and the occupation of part of Lebanon. Return to national unity so that everyone wins and the enemies lose.
Sheikh Naim Qassem added: We still hope that the authority will retreat from its sins, and let it be known clearly: These direct negotiations and their outcomes are as if they do not exist for us, and they do not concern us from near or far. We are continuing our defensive resistance for Lebanon and its people. We will not return to pre-March 2nd; we will respond to the Israeli aggression and confront it. No matter how much the enemy threatens, we will not retreat, we will not bow, and we will not be defeated. Threaten as you wish; for the men of God in the field, their heads do not bow, and they bring to submission the tyrants of the earth, the most humiliated of people, and the monsters of creation.
We will be one hand with all the honorable people, with the Amal Movement and national political forces and figures from various regions and sects. And record for history: The Israeli enemy will not remain on one inch of our occupied land, and our people will return to their lands to the last inch of our southern borders with occupied Palestine. And oh our people, just as we resisted together, we will rebuild it together.
He concluded: Welcome to everyone who helps Lebanon and supports its liberation and reconstruction, and unwelcome is everyone who serves the enemy's requirements and the disruption of Lebanon's power.
