Hawzah News Agency- In a message released on the occasion of the IRGC’s founding anniversary, Ayatollah Amoli Larijani, the head of Iran's Expediency Discernment Council, emphasized that the elite force has extended hope and self-confidence across the region and the entire Axis of Resistance.
“The IRGC, beyond the borders of Islamic Iran, spread hope and self-belief over the region and the resistance front,” the senior official stated. He added that through self-sacrifice and support for oppressed nations, the force has left behind lasting acts of courage and bravery that serve as a source of reassurance.
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani described the IRGC as a sacred institution, born from the nation’s faithful people and deeply connected to the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist. In his message, he underscored that the IRGC has played an irreplaceable role in safeguarding the Islamic Revolution and national security.
“Today more than ever, its blessings are evident to all, and even the enemies cannot deny them,” the message read.
The senior official stressed that the IRGC stands today at full strength, guarding Iran’s land, water, skies, and proud national identity. “From the depths of the seas to the heights of space, from the front lines of security to the most complex fields of science and defense, the green-clad sons of this institution selflessly protect the dignity and authority of Islamic Iran,” he noted.
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani also paid tribute to the pure souls of the IRGC’s martyrs, including those from the eight years of Sacred Defense (Iran-Iraq war), defenders of holy shrines, and security martyrs. He named legendary commanders such as Tehrani Moghaddam, Kazemi, Soleimani, Salami, Rashid, and Pakpour as stars illuminating the nation’s path.
“As long as the Revolution and the ideals of the Imam Khomeini and the Leader stand, the IRGC, with God’s help, will remain as firm as a mountain against the storms of enemies, safeguarding Iran’s dignity and the banner of Islam,” his message concluded.
