Hawzah News Agency- Al-Khalil ibn Ahmad narrated from Ibn Mu’adh who narrated from al-Husayn al-Marwazi, who narrated from Abd Allah, who narrated from Ibn Awn, from al-Hasan, that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said:
قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَکَ وَ تَعَالَی: وَ عِزَّتِی وَ جَلَالِی لَا أَجْمَعُ عَلَی عَبْدِی خَوْفَیْنِ وَ لَا أَجْمَعُ لَهُ أَمْنَیْنِ فَإِذَا أَمِنَنِی فِی الدُّنْیَا أَخَفْتُهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ وَ إِذَا خَافَنِی فِی الدُّنْیَا آمَنْتُهُ یَوْمَ الْقِیَامَهِ.
Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
“By My Might and My Majesty, I will not combine two fears for My servant, nor will I combine two securities for him. So if he feels secure from Me in the world, I will make him fearful on the Day of Resurrection. And if he fears Me in the world, I will grant him security on the Day of Resurrection.”
