Hawzah News Agency- Before the current conflict – referred to in Iran as the Ramadan War – the invisible weapons of cultural and political infiltration were fired daily from newspapers, films, TV series, and any platform that could serve the colonial ambitions of Western arrogance. The goal was always the same: to break Iran’s will, belittle its capabilities, and prepare the ground for surrender.
Two tools of Western domination
The arrogant powers of the West rely on two dangerous tools to subjugate nations: first, the flaunting of military might and technological superiority; second – as noted by former British Prime Minister Roosevelt – the insertion of traitorous elements into domestic power structures.
Westernized elites, knowingly or not, have long served as the mouthpiece for this second front. By exaggerating America’s military and economic power, they have sought to dry up the spirit of resistance and present a hollow superpower as unbeatable.
A malignant tumor within
For years, this poisoned current of thought has spread like a malignant cancer through Iran’s cultural, academic, and political fabric. While the Islamic Revolution succeeded in breaking the American hand and expelling it from the nation’s wealth, those who still gaze toward Washington as their qibla became roadblocks to progress.
Tragically, many figures across art, cinema, economics, diplomacy, and academia adopted “We cannot” as their mantra – using defeatism to obstruct Iran’s civilizational march. This internal front, disguised as realism, has caused more harm than any foreign military alliance.
Ramadan War: A wake‑up call
The Ramadan War must mark the end of this unbridled influence over the country’s destiny. There can be no more indulgence of unhealthy, childish fantasies that cooperation with the West brings security or prosperity.
The JCPOA, and every negotiation before and after it with the United States, was merely a pretext for undermining Iran’s unity and power. A slap in the face of American imperialism will not be complete unless it is accompanied by a definitive break from the putrid thinking of internal Westernized factions – and an end to their economic, political, and social prescriptions.
Hope for a new chapter
It is hoped that America’s latest crimes and betrayals will finally open the eyes of the Westernized political current. The only path to a good end is full alignment with the Islamic system and adherence to the teachings of the two Imams of the Revolution (Imam Khomeini and Leader Ayatollah Khamenei).
The Ramadan War should be remembered as the end of Westernized daydreaming – and the beginning of a truly independent, confident, and sovereign Iran.
