Hawzah News Agency- Abu Alaa al-Walaei made the remarks in a post published on the social media platform X, praising the Islamic Republic’s steadfastness in the face of hostile actions.
He emphasized that Iran’s response exceeded all expectations of its adversaries, describing it as both “powerful and surprising.”
Walaei pointed to a series of operations carried out by resistance forces, including a strike on a chemical facility in Be’er Sheva, saying such actions demonstrate a high level of precision and operational capability among resistance groups.
He further lauded the sacrifices and efforts of resistance fighters operating under various banners across the region.
The Iraqi resistance leader also highlighted the effective strikes targeting US military installations, particularly in the Persian Gulf region. He said these developments have sent a clear message to host countries accommodating roughly 750 American bases worldwide—that such facilities are highly vulnerable and incapable of ensuring even their own security, let alone that of others.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Walaei referred to developments in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, arguing that close alignment with US policies has failed to deliver genuine security for those countries.
He also touched on recent comments by Donald Trump regarding Mohammed bin Salman, saying they illustrate how overreliance on Washington can undermine national sovereignty and interests rather than safeguard them.
