Hawzah News Agency- In a statement, the SSNP vehemently condemned the US-Zionist aggression against Iran and the heinous crime of assassinating the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, along with the accompanying deliberate massacre of children and civilians. The party described the aggression as a full-fledged crime that flagrantly violates Iran’s sovereignty and tramples upon the rules of international law, UN regulations, and its charter.
The party noted that this barbaric aggression contradicts the most fundamental principles upon which international law is built. It stated that the assassination of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, given his symbolic stature, alongside the massacre of civilians, are blatant atrocities condemned by all human principles.
The party added that the continuation of this aggressive path undermines the foundations of international peace and security, pushing the region and the world toward further tension, escalating crises, and greater instability.
The statement emphasized that what makes this aggression more dangerous and its condemnation more severe is its occurrence while negotiations were underway. This, it said, reveals a hidden political deception and exploitation of the negotiation process as a cover to prepare and execute the aggression. It constitutes a clear violation of the language of diplomacy and a deliberate weakening of the prospects for peaceful solutions.
The statement further noted that initiating war while channels of negotiation were open constitutes deceptive behavior that destroys trust between nations and demonstrates that the aggression was a premeditated decision, not an emergency reaction.
Expressing its deepest condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, and its people on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the SSNP affirmed that he was a leader for Iran and a supporter and backer of truth and freedom for the nations of the world. The party stated that his assassination is a stain on the forehead of humanity.
Concluding its statement, the party affirmed its full solidarity and stance alongside the Islamic Republic of Iran in its legitimate right to defend its sovereignty, security, and people. It called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities and to take immediate and decisive action to halt the aggression and bring the perpetrators of these crimes to justice, to ensure justice prevails and preserve regional and international stability, which the United States and the occupying regime have shattered through their joint aggression against Iran.
