According to a Hawzah News Agency correspondent in Tehran, Major General Ali Abdollahi issued a message addressed to the noble, honorable, and discerning nation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In the statement, the commander stated that the criminal and malicious US-Zionist enemies launched an intense war with the aim of fragmenting and consuming the beloved homeland. He noted that on the first day of the conflict, the leader of the Islamic Ummah and a number of brave commanders of the armed forces were martyred, as the enemy anticipated that the country would collapse within 48 hours without its Leader and its armed forces without commanders.
However, Abdollahi emphasized that by divine grace, through the epic presence of the great and heroic Iranian nation, and through the unparalleled efforts of the people's brave sons in the armed forces and the fighters of Islam over the past 25 days, the enemies of the country and nation—chief among them the arrogant and vicious United States—have been forced into defeat. He added that the proud nation and its honorable combatants continue to advance on the path to final victory.
The commander further stated that the artificial powers, particularly the United States, which for decades exploited oppressed nations worldwide—especially Islamic countries—through threats and intimidation, have now been brought to their knees before the eyes of the world through divine assistance. Following this humiliating defeat, he noted, they are now seeking to flee from the war they initiated and to escape the coalition they attempted to form against the Islamic Republic.
Abdollahi stated that US President Donald Trump, having understood the realities on the ground and finding himself trapped in the quagmire of war, has turned to the leaders of certain countries to seek an exit after losing hope of achieving his objectives. He described this historic situation as a great honor for the heroic Iranian nation.
Concluding his message, the commander affirmed that in this critical phase of the war, the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic—true to the covenant they made with the martyred Imam of the Ummah—remain steadfast in their commitment to defend the proud and victorious nation. He stated that in full obedience to the beloved Leader and Commander-in-Chief, Imam Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the armed forces will continue this glorious path until complete victory, supported by the vigilant and courageous people of the Islamic Republic.
