Hawzah News Agency- In a post on the social media platform X, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi reacted decisively to the UK leader’s decision to place British military assets at the service of acts of aggression against Iran.
“The vast majority of the British people have no desire to participate in the Israeli and US war of choice against Iran,” Araghchi wrote.
He added, “Mr. Starmer, by ignoring the will of your people and making British bases available for aggressive actions against Iran, you are endangering the lives of British citizens.”
The top Iranian diplomat concluded with a firm assertion of Iran’s sovereignty, stating, “Iran will exercise its legitimate right to self-defense.”
