Hawzah News Agency- Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated in his Nowruz address that the coming year is defined by the nation’s resilience and the failure of its enemies.
The full text of the parliamentary speaker’s message is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O proud and heroic nation of Iran!
Nowruz this year is one of steadfastness and sacrifice for the glory of Iran, aimed at disappointing and defeating the enemies of this sacred land.
The spring of the Iranian nation’s victory and the defeat of the aggressor enemy is near—a resounding slap in the face to anyone, in any form, who seeks to destroy Iran.
The historic and unparalleled sacrifice of the nation’s soldiers—whom I salute and for whose bravery I am grateful—alongside the courageous and tireless uprising of all Iranians in the arena to thwart the enemies’ plots, has made the past year unforgettable.
This year, we once again observe Nowruz without our martyred leader. The irreparable loss of his absence weighs heavily on our hearts; we all miss him dearly. The enduring love of that great historical figure for dear Iran and his unwavering resistance until his final breath to prevent this country from being devoured by enemies serve as a roadmap for all devotees and those ready to sacrifice for Iran.
Today, by the grace and favor of Almighty God, the banner of guidance and leadership of this Revolution is in the hands of the righteous successor to our martyred Leader. A righteous successor following a righteous one. We are grateful for this blessing and are confident that the Islamic Revolution, under the guardianship of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, will reach new peaks of honor and glory.
On this first day of the new year, I honor the memory of the proud martyrs of our country and ask their noble families to pray for us and all servants and soldiers of the nation, so that we may avenge their pure blood.
With the grace of Almighty God, the new year will be the year of slapping the enemies of Iran. Our Iran will ultimately emerge from these storms more proud and powerful than before, and we will celebrate that day together.
Hoping for the day of victory and joy for the hearts of all the people of Iran.
As the final chapter of this tale is sweet,
Invoke the name of Iran, for it vanquishes the foe.
