Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at the "Iranian Night" ceremony held at the Moscow Ramadan Tent, Kazem Jalali emphasized that the enemy's plot to disrupt Iran's order through the assassination of the Leader has ended in failure.
"The American-Zionist enemy, by attacking Iran and martyring the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, sought to disrupt the country's order but faced defeat," Jalali stated. "We appreciate the solidarity of the Russian government and nation with Iran."
The annual event, traditionally dedicated to Iran on the last Friday of Ramadan, brought together participants who honored the martyrs of Gaza and Palestine while praying for Iran's victory against the US and Israeli military aggression.
Iran Chooses Imam Hussein's Path
Addressing the gathering attended by Russia's First Deputy Head of the Muslim Religious Board and various Russian figures alongside Shia and Sunni Muslims, Jalali highlighted the millions-strong Quds Day rallies across Iran as evidence of the nation's resolve.
"The aggressor enemy can never bring the Iranian nation to its knees," the ambassador asserted. Recalling the martyrdom of the Islamic Revolution's Leader and numerous citizens in recent attacks, he declared that the Iranian nation has chosen the path of Imam Hussein (PBUH) between humiliation and martyrdom and will continue the path of its martyred Leader.
United Front Against Hegemony
Jalali emphasized that Iran and Russia stand together in a single front defending their independence and sovereignty against common threats.
Following his remarks, Russia's First Deputy Head of the Muslim Religious Board offered condolences on the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, praising the Islamic Republic's unwavering commitment to supporting the oppressed.
Russian Political Analyst Praises Iran's Resistance
Maxim Shevchenko, a prominent Russian political activist, described Iran as the target of attack by "forces of absolute evil" and praised the country's brilliant resistance, expressing confidence that ultimate victory belongs to the Iranian people.
Emotional Tributes to Martyrs
The ceremony featured screenings of video segments commemorating the martyred Leader and the schoolchildren martyred in the Minab school incident, creating a deeply emotional atmosphere among participants.
The gathering underscored the strengthening ties between Tehran and Moscow as both nations face what they characterize as Western pressure and aggression, with religious and political figures from both sides affirming their shared commitment to resisting hegemony and supporting oppressed peoples across the region.
