The Assembly of Experts fulfilled its duty with the election of the most righteous

In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

Dear people of Iran and supporters of the Islamic Revolution,

Praise be to God, the Assembly of Leadership Experts, in this sensitive moment, fulfilled its religious and legal duty with a timely decision.

This Assembly, by examining the criteria, elected Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei (may God preserve him) as the third leader of the Islamic Revolution and has fulfilled its duty.

Now, it is befitting that the noble nation of Iran who are the pillars of the system, with their oath to this righteous election, continue the bright path of the revolution with unity and perseverance until the final victory.

I, while reiterating my condolences for the martyrdom of the late leader of the revolution, the commanders, the dear people, and the oppressed women and children, congratulate the respected leadership and all the dear people of Iran on this election, and I ask for God's blessings for the victory, dignity, and glory of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the defeat of the enemies.
