Hawzah News Agency- In press remarks on Tuesday, al-Hindi said the council, chaired by US President , had adopted what he called the Israeli occupation’s agenda and was concerned only with guaranteeing Israel’s security.
He added that statements by US Ambassador Mike Huckabee exposed what he described as Washington’s clear bias towards Israel.
Al-Hindi said it would have been more appropriate for the US administration to issue a clear condemnation and a direct apology over the ambassador’s remarks.
He argued that the Israeli occupation, not the weapons of the resistance, was the main cause of instability in the region. He also claimed that Israel had an interest in provoking a US war against Iran.
