Hawzah News Agency- Shaikh al-Saduq narrated from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who narrated from Sa’d ibn Abd Allah, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad al-Asbahani, from Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Minqari, who narrated from Yahya ibn Sa’id al-Qattan, who said: I heard Imam Sadiq (pbuh) saying:
regarding the words of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, “He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]; between them is a barrier so neither of them transgresses” (Ar-Rahman:19-20) he said:
عَلِیٌّ وَ فَاطِمَهُ علیهما السّلام بَحْرَانِ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ عَمِیقَانِ لَا یَبْغِی أَحَدُهُمَا عَلَی صَاحِبِهِ
Ali and Fatimah (peace be upon them both) are two deep oceans of knowledge; neither of them transgresses against the other.
“From them emerge the pearl and the coral” (Ar-Rahman:22):
الْحَسَنُ وَ الْحُسَیْنُ علیهما السّلام.
Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn (peace be upon them both).
