Hawzah News Agency- Participants celebrated the historic milestone with a vibrant procession, raising the Iranian national flag alongside images of Imam Khomeini, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and Nigerian Shiite leader Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky.
Chanting slogans such as “Allahu Akbar,” “Death to America,” and “Death to Israel,” the demonstrators expressed their unwavering solidarity with the Iranian nation, government, and its revolutionary principles. The festivities featured speeches, cultural performances, and a visible display of unity among the attendees, reflecting the strong bonds of faith, resistance, and political solidarity that connect communities across Nigeria and the wider Muslim world.
“This celebration is a testament to the enduring influence of the Islamic Revolution, not only in Iran but across the globe, inspiring oppressed peoples and promoting the values of independence, justice, and resistance against foreign domination,” one of the event organizers said.
The annual observance in Kano highlights the deep cultural and political ties between Iran and its supporters in Africa, emphasizing a shared commitment to defending the rights and dignity of Muslim nations and reinforcing transnational solidarity in the face of ongoing regional challenges.
