Hawzah News Agency- Speaking to reporters in Beirut on Friday, Araghchi said Omani foreign minister is to discuss bilateral relations.
He said he is not informed whether his Oman counterpart is to deliver any message or not.
Commenting on the recent developments in Iran, he rejected the possibility of foreigners’ military interference in Iran as “remote” and said it is a failed experience.
He compared what is happening on the street in Iran these days with what was happening in Lebanon in 2023 due to foreign currency rate and added that the Iranian government is trying to solve problems.
He also said that the US and Israel have openly admitted that they are playing their role and interfering in the unrest. They are trying to turn peaceful protests into violence, he said.
Elaborating on the agenda of his visit to Lebanon, Araghchi said he had discussed regional issues and ways to counter the Israeli regime’s threats.
Fortunately, all regional countries have common stances against these threats, he said.
