The Milton event is part of a broader, nationwide effort by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, which has a long-standing partnership with Canadian Blood Services. Through this initiative, Muslim youth are participating in blood drives in multiple communities across Canada to help maintain the country’s blood supply.
It capped off a strong month filled with giving back for the local organization, as they also helped residents in need during a snow storm.
The association says these efforts aim to give back to local communities while supporting a critical national healthcare need.
