Hawzah News Agency- During a visit to the Qom branch of the Imam Khomeini Kargil Institute in India, Hojatoleslam Mahdavipour met with Asghar Ali Karbalai, head of the institute, and formally congratulated him on winning the Imam Khomeini (RA) World Prize. He described the award as a recognition of the institute’s sustained efforts in promoting the values of the Islamic Revolution.
The Iranian Supreme Leader’s representative praised the institute’s scientific, cultural, and outreach initiatives, emphasizing its effective role in disseminating the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and introducing the thoughts, character, and legacy of Imam Khomeini (RA) to broader audiences, particularly in the Indian subcontinent.
Hojatoleslam Mahdavipour stressed that institutions such as the Imam Khomeini Kargil Institute play a vital role in strengthening intellectual and cultural ties within the Islamic world and in conveying the revolutionary discourse rooted in justice, independence, and resistance.
The Imam Khomeini Kargil Institute in India was awarded the Imam Khomeini (RA) World Prize in recognition of its notable contributions to spreading the culture of the Islamic Revolution and explaining the ideas and teachings of the leaders of the revolution through educational, cultural, and scholarly activities.
