Hawzah News Agency- In an interview with Al Jazeera, he added: "Sovereignty in Gaza must be Palestinian; it is the Palestinian who decides and it is he who governs''.
Meshaal emphasized that the danger comes from the Zionist regime, not from Gaza, which they want to disarm.
He also noted that providing aid to Gaza is essential to increase pressure for the transition to the second phase of the end-of-war agreement, explaining that the Hamas movement is trying to achieve this goal by all means.
Meshaal stressed that the Palestinian issue has regained its soul on the regional stage and has emerged from the margins to impose itself on everyone.
He continued: "Gaza has given everything it can, and now it is time for it to recover, take care of itself and resume life. There is no need to open fire again''.
The Hamas leader also described the disarmament for the Palestinians as "deprivation of the soul," adding: "We informed the mediators that Gaza needs someone to help it rise and regain its strength''.
