Hawzah News Agency- The airline in a statement said, the decision was reached based on the feedback gathered from its employees and the public, as the company aims to build a workplace that every Allstar (the name of AirAsia employee) can feel confident, comfortable and proud to represent the brand.
“This development strengthens those values by giving employees the option to represent AirAsia in a way that aligns with their beliefs'', he said.
However, he said this new update will allow all female crew members to wear the hijab flexibly and as seen fit across the entire AirAsia network, without compromising the airline’s iconic identity.
