Hawzah News Agency- Sheikh Al-Karbalaei stated, “We would like to acknowledge the efforts being made, both in Quranic activities and in Quranic media. We hope to see a clear media vision that defines the intended goals, whether concerning the followers of our school of thought or the broader Muslim world''.
He explained that “it is essential for Quranic media to demonstrate professionalism and the ability to influence, in a way that captures people’s interest and motivates them to engage with the Holy Quran. In Iraq, thankfully, we enjoy a distinguished environment when it comes to Quranic participation and memorization, with a large number of memorizers at the Shrine and in many other institutions''.
He noted that “the attention given to the Quran, whether in memorization, recitation, reading, or printing, is immense, but the challenge lies in achieving meaningful impact and strong media appeal''.
Sheikh Al-Karbalaei continued, “Professional media can be attractive and spread quickly through social media platforms and other channels, highlighting the followers of the school of thought and their involvement in Quranic memorization, recitation, and various competitions''.
He stressed that “these competitions and Quranic talents should be presented in a manner befitting our distinguished level, showcasing our excellence in memorization and recitation so that audiences inside and outside Iraq can see our commitment to the Holy Quran''.
He further pointed out that “the important task now is to increase the number of believers who engage with the Holy Quran, and to guide families toward adopting the Quran as a way of life, not merely reading or reciting it for spiritual reward, but understanding it as a guidebook whose principles are meant to be applied in daily living''.
