Hawzah News Agency- From Nabatieh in the south to Baalbek in the Bekaa, and across several neighborhoods in Beirut’s southern suburbs (Dahiyeh), families and supporters gathered to mark the occasion.
One of the largest gatherings took place on Bir Al-Abed Street in the Dahiyeh, where the initiators distributed flowers to passersby, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to the resistance and its martyrs.
Activists described this gesture as a “quiet but powerful declaration” that Lebanon’s soil, watered by sacrifice, remains rooted in its people’s identity and protected by their steadfastnes.
As flowers were distributed to resistance supporters, placed at destroyed buildings, and scattered across neighborhoods still bearing the scars of last year’s aggression, a profound sentiment united towns across Lebanon: remembrance intertwined with an unshakable pledge to defend the homeland at any cost.
Families, youth groups, and elderly residents stood shoulder to shoulder, holding roses toward the sky—a symbolic declaration that Lebanon honors its martyrs not only with grief but also with enduring pride, gratitude, and resolve. Even in the face of destruction, the loss of homes, and the hardships inflicted by the Israeli enemy, the people’s commitment to resistance remains steadfast and unyielding.
