Islamic Movement Condemns Kebbi and Niger School Abductions, Expresses Solidarity with Families

The recent abductions of school children in Kebbi and Niger States mark yet another dark chapter in Nigeria’s unending insecurity crisis.

Hawzah News Agency- the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement calls upon President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian Armed Forces, the Police and Intelligence Agencies, the Governments of Kebbi and Niger States, to act with urgency, coordination, and unwavering commitment. Nigeria’s children must never again pay the price of a failed leadership.

As the Academic Forum of the Islamic Movement, a body whose own students were among the victims of the 2015 Zaria massacre, we stand in full solidarity with the affected families. We feel their pain. We share their grief. And we reaffirm our unwavering stance against all forms of injustice and violence, as exemplified by the principled leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H).

These abducted children are not mere statistics, and should never be dismissed as one! They are daughters, sons, promising minds, and future leaders of our nation. Their safe return must be treated not only as a security priority but as a national moral obligation.
