Hawzah News Agency- The report highlights recent incidents in The Hague, Waalwijk, and Emmeloord. In Emmeloord earlier this month, a bag containing torn copies of the Quran was found near a mosque.
The mosque’s imam also received threatening phone calls, and a dead animal was reportedly placed at the building shortly before the Quran incident.
K9 said the nature of the incidents is becoming more severe. “Years ago, the incidents were often verbal abuse'', the organization said.
“Now there is increasingly extreme intimidation, including dead animals, threatening letters, and physical violence. From assaults and arson to stones thrown through windows and even Molotov cocktails thrown at mosques''.
