Hawzah News Agency- Anti-colonialism activist Aref Jaber reported that, as of the time of this report, Israeli forces were still blocking access to all neighborhoods in the Old City. The military declared a curfew yesterday and restricted the movement of local Palestinian residents. They also set up numerous checkpoints on the main streets leading to the Ibrahimi Mosque, closing several neighborhoods and preventing locals from moving freely.
In a related development, thousands of Israeli colonists broke into the Ibrahimi Mosque and the surrounding plaza, citing their celebration of Sarah's Sabbath, a Jewish festival. During these events, Israeli forces assaulted a number of Palestinian citizens and blocked their access to homes and workplaces.
