Hawzah News Agency- Addressing worshippers during the Friday prayers, Hojatoleslam Hosseini Baqirabadi called on believers to uphold divine piety, saying: “Piety means fulfilling what God Almighty expects of us and placing our hope only in Him.”
Quoting Imam Ali (AS), he said those who possess piety become “dear and impenetrable,” adding that “with piety, a person gains such spiritual power that even moving a mountain becomes possible through divine reliance.”
He stressed that a pious person will not be left destitute, as “God Himself provides for those who are sincere. Our needs and hardships are often the result of our own sins and mistakes.”
The Friday Imam also underlined that piety sharpens one’s intellect and strengthens reasoning in times of decision-making.
Commenting on the Sharm El-Sheikh Summit on Gaza, Hojatoleslam Hosseini Baqirabadi said: “Twenty-one Arab countries and twenty-eight European countries attended the meeting, yet neither the Zionist regime nor Hamas were present. This proves that the Zionist entity is powerless and that the United States decides on its behalf.”
He praised the Islamic Republic of Iran’s decision not to attend the gathering, saying: “While Western countries were pleased with Iran’s invitation, we showed that we are not part of their fabricated conflicts. Iran’s stance was wise and dignified.”
