Turkish Scholar: Sharm el-Sheikh Summit Cannot Derail Resistance Path

The head of Turkey’s Ahl al-Bayt Ulema Union (Ehlader), Kadir Akaras, says the recent Sharm el-Sheikh summit will have no impact on the steadfast course of the Resistance Front.

Hawzah News Agency- Speaking in an interview with Iran’s TV news network, Akaras described the gathering—held under the banner of “peace”—as another attempt similar to the failed Camp David and Oslo accords, ultimately serving the interests of the Zionist regime and its allies.

He said the session, organized under US President Donald Trump’s so-called ceasefire initiative, sought to impose conditions rejected by the Resistance Front. “The Palestinian people will never allow the blood of their martyrs to be traded at negotiation tables,” Akaras stressed, condemning Arab regimes that “remained silent for two years amid the genocide in Gaza.”

The Turkish cleric added that the summit only reinforced the unity and determination of resistance movements, exposing the futility of political shows aimed at whitewashing the crimes of the Zionist regime and its Western backers.

“Trump’s attempt to portray himself as a peacemaker is a desperate bid to repair his image,” Akaras said. “But the nations of the region see through this deception. Israel has failed to achieve its military or political goals, and true victory belongs to those who win the hearts and consciences of nations.”
