Hawzah News Agency- The competition, held at the Republican Mosque in Astana, brings together top Quran reciters from 20 countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Bahrain, Iran, Russia, Chechnya, Morocco, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Azerbaijan, the UAE, Tatarstan, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Malaysia, Algeria, and Pakistan. Participants compete in the full memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran.
The event was attended by M. Kalizhanov, Deputy Chairman of the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue. These initiatives highlight the importance of promoting religious harmony, dialogue, and cooperation at both the national and international levels.
