Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim narrated from his father, from Abdullah ibn Maymun , from Imam Sadiq(pbuh), from his father, from his forefathers, from Imam Ali (pbuh) that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) said:
فضل العلم أحب إلى الله عز وجل من فضل العبادة، وأفضل دينكم الورع.
The virtue of knowledge is more beloved to Allah(swt) than the virtue of worship. And the greatest virtue of your religion is piety.
