Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on Tuesday, during his meeting with the President of Tajikistan Imam Ali Rahman, and the accompanying delegation, emphasized the policy and main priority of the Islamic Republic of Iran to expand relations with countries in the region, especially countries that speak the same language and have a common culture, history, and religion, noting, “As in the past, the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate with Tajikistan in various fields.”
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, appreciating the visit of the President of Tajikistan to Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of the President, called the visit of the officials of the two countries as a basis for the expansion of cooperation, saying, “Persian language is one of the important commonalities of Iran, Tajikistan and Afghanistan, and it should be preserved; Expanding this language and preventing some attempts to isolate it, calls for more cooperation.”
At the end, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution noted that the expansion of relations between Iran and Tajikistan has opponents that calls for a plan to deal with them.
In this meeting, which was also attended by Iran’s first Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, Imam Ali Rahman, expressed his great satisfaction at meeting with the leader of the revolution, and referred to his negotiations with President Pezeshkian, noting, “As you said a few years ago, the two countries are relatives and we welcome the expansion of relations and the use of the experiences and developments of the Islamic Republic in the fields of science, health and industry.”
In this meeting, the president of Tajikistan also mentioned some of his measures to spread the Persian language in this country.
