Hawzah News Agency- the Hamburg Islamic Center held the first Ashura seminar on Monday, July 1. This seminar was attended by more than 60 clergymen and missionaries from Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, England, Sweden, Austria, France, and Denmark as well as other European countries.

Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Hadi Mofatteh, imam and director of the Hamburg Islamic Center, in the opening of this seminar, stated the importance of Ashura in Shia culture and emphasized the need for the collective efforts of clergy and missionaries living in Europe to improve the scientific level of Shia pulpits in Europe. He mentioned the aim of holding this seminar is to present the genuine and far from distorted narrative of the Ashura event and the movement of Imam Hossein (PBUH), as well as an attractive and accurate expression to attract young people living in Europe.
