Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Ali Abbasi, the chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University had a meeting with Sheikh Omar Farooq, a scientific and cultural figure of Mali during which he introduced the Al-Mustafa University and stated, " Al-Mustafa International University is an Islamic university and today it welcomes scholars from 130 different nationalities of the world, including the country of Mali.”
Referring to the representative activity of the Al-Mustafa University in Mali, he noted,” The certificates of Al-Mustafa International University are provided by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and our students are studying in more than 160 disciplines, orientations and courses in the three axes of Islamic sciences, humanities and languages.”
Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi stated that Al-Mustafa International University welcomes learners from different Islamic schools and continued,” Some credits of Al-Mustafa University are dedicated to Sunni students, and in many centers Sunni Muslims and followers of Ahl al-Bayt school work and study side by side.”
He considered the strengthening of brotherhood and helping the followers of different Islamic religions to be close to each other as one of the basic strategies of Al-Mustafa International University and in line with the high goals of the Islamic Revolution and reminded,” the extremist currents that fuel division and discord among the Muslim Ummah, knowingly or unknowingly, are serving the enemies. We are all members of the great family of Islam, and one of the obvious policies of the colonialists to maintain their dominance in all parts of the world is to create division and discord among the people of that region.”
The chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University continued,” Before the British colonialists entered India, Muslims and Hindus lived peacefully side by side for hundreds of years, but the first action of the colonialists was to create discord between them, and in the next step, they started creating differences between Islamic religions.”
He considered inciting differences and creating conflicts among Islamic societies in order to restrain the power of Muslims and said,” Today, the enemies of Muslims are united in their false cause, and the US government and the colonial powers support the occupying and criminal Zionist regime. Unfortunately, Muslims are not able to cooperate in supporting the oppressed Palestine. The Islamic Republic of Iran considers itself to belong to all Muslims and truth-seeking people in the world and emphasizes on brotherhood and unity among nations.”
The Chancellor of Al-Mustafi International University further pointed to the remarkable achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields of science and technology and stated,” The Islamic Revolution has tried to restore the dignity and high status of Muslims through scientific development, and therefore the scientific and research centers of Iran in the years following the revolution have faced significant development.”
