Hawzah News Agency- Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamdani issued a message to the "Role of Fundamental Rules in Deriving New Issues" conference in Qom, the text of which is as follows:

Greetings To That Honorable Assembly;

One of the important issues is the role of jurisprudence, and the Holy Quran has not honored any class like jurists and scholars, and the reason for the greatness of this honor is that what is in our jurisprudence and what our jurists speak about is that our jurisprudence is directly taken from The Almighty God.

Jurists are those who do not know time and place in defense of religion and do not hesitate to sacrifice their lives, but consider martyrdom as their pride, and the subject of jurisprudence began at the time of the Messenger of God Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and developed every day, and during the time of Imam al-Baqir and al-Sadiq (peace be upon them) reached its peak; the training of notable students such as Abu Basir, Yunus Ibn Abd al-Rahman, Aban Ibn Taghlib and others to convey fatwa among Shiites is proof of this.

It should be noted that this science reached its peak during the time of Imam al-Sadiq (PBUH) and Hisham ibn al-Hakam wrote treatises on this knowledge, and later Sheikh Mufid and Seyyed Murtaza continued this path, and today our seminaries are engaged in this important issue, namely jurisprudence and principles. our emphasis is that the Islamic seminary should continue on the same path as the great scholars and promote these lessons, and Alhamdulillah, there has been a great leap in this regard in recent years.
